MANETTE DENNIS

Manette is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to practice law in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. District Courts, and the state of New York. Her practice areas include Patent, Trademark, Copyright and Unfair Competition Law with technical experience in genetics, biotechnology and chemistry.

She has represented household names in multiple industries including pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, aerospace, and agriculture. Manette has advised the National Institute of Health and Congress on legal and scientific issues surrounding The Human Genome Project and patenting DNA sequences. She has presented to the American Bar Association on topics including genetic engineering, financing of patent rights, and diversity.

Manette enjoys road trips and plans to visit all 50 states – so far she has visited 48. She also enjoys photography and documenting the sights and tastes of her travels.
